Area I: education and training activities
BCU's activities enable the following groups of recipients to obtain, supplement knowledge, skills and professional qualifications or change their professional qualifications:
- Adults (excluding vocational education teachers), who will have the opportunity to benefit from two forms of education, i.e.: at least 30 hours of vocational training, ending with an industry skills certificate, and 120 hours of courses ending with an issued certificate of qualification in non-formal (sectoral) education,
- To young people: pupils and students who will benefit from at least 15 hours of industry vocational training with a certificate of completion of industry training,
- Teachers of vocational education, who will be offered at least 15 hours of industry-specific training, culminating in the issuance of a certificate of completion of industry-specific training.
At least 540 people (including 378 women and 162 men) will participate in the on-site trainings and courses held at the Industry Skills Center. In addition, in remote mode,
using a remote learning platform, trainings and courses will be implemented for at least 100 people. The program of each training and course will include issues of digital and green transformation.
On the initiative of the BCU, one new qualification in the field of non-formal education (sectoral) will be included in the Integrated Qualification System, responding to the needs of the field of catering and waitressing. For the new qualification, the Association "Polish Academy of Culinary Arts" will serve as a certifying institution.
The Industry Skills Center will also operate an examination center for professional or other examinations specific to the field of catering and waitressing.
